Traditional Bengali Breakfst

luchi and alur dom is a favourite Sunday breakfast for a lot of Bengalis. Luchi is a deep-fried puri which is made using flour. And alur dom is a spicy gravy made with potatoes and spices like chilli powder, turmeric and garam masala to be eaten hot with the luchi.

Traditional Bengali Bhuri Bhoj

“Bhuri Bhoj” Story Bhuribhoj is a Bengali word and literally means”A complete, sumptuous and delightful meal”.The name” Bhuri Bhoj” as some of my friends correctly recognized indeed has that strong Bong connection (Bengali Connection)which can be precisely defined as “Sholoana Bangaliyana”.

Traditional Bengali Vegetarian Platter

Bengali Food is a unique blend of panchforan which is a mixture of five species (aniseed, mustard, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, and black cumin seeds) and mustard oil that not only adds the distinct flavour but also retains the tenderness of the dish.

North Indian Platter

North Indian curries usually have thick, moderately spicy and creamy gravies. The use of dried fruits and nuts is fairly common even in everyday foods. Dairy products like milk, cream, cottage cheese, ghee (clarified butter) and yogurt play an important role in the cooking of both savory and sweet dishes.

South Indian Platter

There is not one but many famous dishes in South India including Pongal, Masala dosa, Chicken 65, Sambar, Pulihora, Appam, Upma, Hyderabadi biryani and many more.

Catchy Chinese Platter
